One of Lillian’s recent youth endeavor birthed The Titanic Science and Technology Summer Camp that re introduced new countries, new characters, new problems and challenges to solve through Titanic video learning tools; participants ranged from ages 4 to 13, made ice bergs, designed and created aluminum ships that sunk and float under various weights, learned new terminology, participated with weekly Drug & Alcohol exercises and MORE! The U. S. Coast Guard International Ice Patrol remembers those lost on the Titanic, our spray painted clothespin around a wired frame, did the job for our wreath makers
We LEARNED Everything! Daily we watched a video with a related activity, full of fun and learning! Seven Weeks, 3 days, 4 hours, $0 budget! With the space of Beulah Baptist Church and the Summer Food Lunch Program from the YMCA, we were set. Drug and Alcohol provided amazing weekly experiences with the participants and the the IRMC, Indiana Regional Medical Center started us all with healthy living!
